Job Description:

Ferrovial has an exciting, entry-level payroll tax analyst position for a recent graduate or early career professional. A Payroll Tax Analyst manages payroll tax compliance, ensures accurate reporting, and provides expertise on federal, state, and local tax regulations.

This is an onsite, hybrid position in the Woodlands, TX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tax Reporting and Payments:Review and reconcile payroll tax payments and filings, including W-2s, W-2c's, and quarterly/annual returns).
  • Data Analysis:Analyze payroll tax data, perform calculations, and provide insights to management for decision-making
  • Process Documentation:Design, document, and review payroll tax procedures to maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation
  • Problem Resolution:Research and resolve payroll tax discrepancies, notices, or compliance issues for multi-state entities
  • Collaboration:Work closely with payroll, HR, and accounting teams to ensure accurate employee data and tax reporting
  • Special Projects:Assist management with strategic initiatives, audits, and process improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
  • Years of Experience: 0-2
