Position Summary
UBA is seeking a detail-oriented Payment Poster to join our revenue cycle team. This role is responsible for accurately posting insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and denials into the billing system while ensuring proper account reconciliation.
The Payment Poster plays an important role in maintaining the integrity of financial records and supporting the efficiency of the overall revenue cycle process.
Key Responsibilities
Payment Posting & Reconciliation
  • Post insurance and patient payments accurately and in a timely manner into the billing system
  • Apply contractual adjustments and identify payment discrepancies
  • Reconcile posted payments with deposit totals and financial reports

Remittance Review & Denial Identification
  • Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs)
  • Identify underpayments, denials, or posting errors and escalate as necessary
  • Maintain detailed records of payment activity and adjustments

Revenue Cycle Collaboration
  • Work closely with billing, collections, and coding teams to resolve account issues
  • Support accurate financial reporting and revenue cycle efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies and healthcare compliance standards
