Job description

Description
TripleTen is an EdTech company that designs and runs tech career learning programs for the US and Latin American markets. We've been doing it for over five years, teaching complete beginners - people with no prior tech background - through cohort-based programs built on our own platform and curriculum, developed in partnership with Nebius AI. Our team is fully remote and globally distributed, and we serve a large, active student base across both regions.
We are looking for a Payments Operations Specialist to support the end-to-end student payment lifecycle, including payment processing, loan operations, documentation management, refund handling, and cross-functional coordination, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and an excellent student experience.
What you will do
  • Manage and process student payments, ensuring accuracy across payment schedules, billing records, and partner systems.
  • Support loan operations by reviewing eligibility requirements, coordinating documentation, and maintaining accurate records throughout the approval process.
  • Maintain and validate payment data, reconcile transactions, and monitor enrollments to ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Process and manage student documentation, including enrollment agreements, academic records, and other operational documents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment-related inquiries, refunds, documentation requests, and operational issues.
  • Handle payment operations workflows, including payment plan adjustments, program transfers, payment link generation, and issue resolution.
  • Calculate, process, and communicate student refunds in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitor recurring payment plans, proactively identifying and addressing payment issues to support a positive student experience.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, documentation, and team workflows.

Please note: The Payments Operations Team manages several operational streams. In this role, you will focus on a specific area while collaborating closely with the broader team.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in an operational role within an IT, SaaS, EdTech, or other technology-driven environment.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas (e.g. XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), data validation, reporting, and working with large datasets.
  • Experience working with operational systems such as billing platforms, CRM tools, help desk systems, or data management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with financial, operational, and student-related data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Comfort working with routine operational tasks while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and incomplete information.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience using collaboration and documentation tools such as Slack, Notion, or similar platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and functions.
  • Interest in technology, online education, and digital products.
  • Experience building or documenting operational processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and workflow optimization is a plus.

What we can offer you
  • Full-time remote collaboration;
  • Compensation for part-time collaboration is 600 USD per month.
  • A comfortable digital office. We use modern digital tools- Miro, Notion, Google Meet, etc.- to make the process of working together seamless.
  • Growth. Our product is expanding quickly, so it's a great time to get on board and challenge yourself.
  • Diverse and tight-knit team which is spread out across Israel, Serbia, USA, Georgia, Armenia and more.
