Job Summary

The VP/COO for First Physicians Group (FPG) will have oversight for all matters related to overall medical group performance, inclusive of operational, clinical, financial metrics, growth, and services. This leader is responsible for strategic development and execution of ambulatory care as well as active engagement in driving the strategy, growth, and alignment of internal and external physician relationships within and across the medical group and health system.

This leader will work collaboratively and cohesively with acute care leaders, service line executive directors, and executive medial directors to coordinate strategies and be committed to a culture supportive of physicians that fosters their professional development.

Required Qualifications

- Require a Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field.
- Require ten (10) years of senior leadership experience in healthcare setting with specific experience in managing ambulatory services, service lines, integrated delivery systems (IDS), an physician practices.


Preferred Qualifications

- Prefer a proven ability to lead a high-performing team and the ability to recruit and motivate talent.
- Prefer extensive experience in a highly matrixed environment.
- Prefer exceptional customer service with strong track record in improving quality, patient, associate, and physician engagement.
- Prefer American College of Medical Practice Executives certification (ACMPE) or Certified Physician Practice Manager Certification (CPPM).
- Prefer excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prefer proficiency in computer software programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, practice management software, Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Outlook.
- Prefer strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
