Job description

We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare to our community. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient care Office Manager to lead operations and ensure a pleasant patient experience for each and every patient and staff.

Position Summary:
The Manager will oversee the daily operations of a team of staff who serve as the first point of contact for patients. Applicants must have at least one year experience directly managing employees including hiring, training, supervising, disciplining and firing if necessary. You should have strong leadership skills to build and develop a productive and successful team. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of medical office procedures and medical insurance plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and schedule team members to ensure coverage and efficiency
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing support and development
  • Oversee patient processes and concerns.
  • Ensure accurate collection and verification of patient information and insurance
  • Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflow
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in a medical office setting, with at least 1 year in a manager role
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and EMR systems
