Job description

The Sales Associate contributes to all aspects of The Company’s’ Sales activities in the Jacksonville Region of the U.S., with a strong emphasis on the promotion of The Company’s’ full product, service and rentals offering. The broader responsibilities of the role include participating in the Jacksonville sales strategy development, execution, and deployment, as well as organic and (input to) sales channel growth in the region. The Sales Associate will ensure existing customers are retained, new customers are acquired, and The Company’s’ full suite of boiler products and services are effectively sold across the region.

The Sales Associate is an experienced business development and sales leader with a proven track record of gaining credibility from their customers as well as the commercial & industrial product manufacturers they represent.

In depth boiler systems and control knowledge required.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
The Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales growth within a commercial & industrial boiler products, rentals, parts & service environment. Working closely with the GM, the Sales Associate also fosters strong business relationships with third party product manufacturers represented by The Company in the region. To accomplish this they:

  • Re-enforce a safety first mindset and ensure regulatory and company policy compliance.
  • Continuously engage with customers in order to prospect, advance, and close new business as well as grow the number of clients for new products, rentals, parts & service solutions within the region. Meet or exceed regional sales targets for new products, rentals, parts & service.
  • Focus on the retention and development of customers in the region. Apply systemic rigor to the ongoing review of sales opportunities in the region, holding themselves accountable for prospecting, advancing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Ensures effective sales account management systems are in place to maintain existing and drive new preventative maintenance, repair / overhaul, and long term parts and service contracts.
  • Establish and continuously evaluate Sales processes and systems for improvement opportunities. Ensure appropriate KPI’s are in place and that they are aligned with regional Sales goals and objectives.
  • Participate in Sales operational reviews and provide variance analysis for the region as well as gap closure responses relating to operational and financial measures.
  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
