Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cleaning Project - Pressure Washer to join our team at Orlando International Airport (MCO). This position will focus primarily on pressure washing and maintaining cleanliness throughout the airport parking garages and other assigned areas.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following all safety and airport security requirements. This position involves physical work, operating pressure-washing equipment, and working in a large parking garage environment during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pressure washing and deep-cleaning duties throughout airport parking garages and assigned areas.
  • Operate pressure washers, floor-cleaning equipment, hoses, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Remove dirt, oil, grease, stains, debris, and other buildup from floors, ramps, walkways, and other surfaces.
  • Clean and maintain parking garage areas, including stairwells, walkways, ramps, and other assigned spaces.
  • Properly use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Set up, operate, and properly store pressure-washing equipment and supplies.
  • Follow all safety procedures when working around vehicles, equipment, water, electrical sources, and other potential hazards.
  • Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or other problems to the supervisor.
  • Follow all airport and GOAA security and safety procedures.
  • Maintain professional conduct while working in an airport environment.
  • Complete assigned cleaning projects within established timeframes and quality standards.
  • Perform additional cleaning and project duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous pressure washing, floor care, commercial cleaning, janitorial, or similar experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating pressure washers and other cleaning equipment is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work overnight hours consistently.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in a parking garage environment and around water and cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable attendance is required.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all airport security requirements.
Airport Security / GOAA Badge Requirement
Because this position is located at Orlando International Airport (MCO), employment is contingent upon successfully completing the required airport background screening and security clearance.
Candidates must be able to successfully complete the GOAA airport background screening, which includes a 10-year background history review, and meet all requirements necessary to obtain and maintain a GOAA security badge.
Candidates must be eligible to obtain the required airport badge before performing work at the airport.
Physical Requirements
This position requires physical activity throughout the work shift, including:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull.
  • Ability to operate pressure-washing and cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to work in areas that may be wet, humid, or exposed to cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.

Schedule & Attendance
This is a full-time third-shift position.
Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Days Off: Friday & Saturday
