Parts Advisor

Royal South Toyota in Bloomington, Indiana, is looking to add a motivated, professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our Parts & Accessories Department.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, working with customers, and being part of a team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the foresight to anticipate customer and department needs.

As a Toyota Parts Advisor, you will support a busy Service Department, our Collision Center, Retail Parts Counter, and online parts and accessories sales through eBay, Amazon, TPCO, and other channels. You will also work with local collision and mechanical repair shops.

Experience in dealership parts, aftermarket parts, online sales, inventory control, or automotive service is a plus. Toyota parts experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is motivated to learn and grow into a Toyota Parts Professional.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers promptly and provide a friendly, professional experience
  • Assist Parts and Service Advisors with daily responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments when needed
  • Clearly communicate with customers to understand and confirm their needs
  • Provide accurate information regarding parts, services, and charges
  • Assist with vehicle tagging and moving vehicles safely when required
  • Use an iPad or phone camera to document customer vehicles when necessary
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Communicate effectively with other departments and our other dealership locations
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inter-company communications
  • Explain completed work and charges to customers when appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with other employees to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Help maintain an organized, accurate, and efficient parts operation
