This dynamic Channels Sales role allows you to become a business management expert across countless industries. As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for Odoo Channel North America, you will be a key player in expanding our partner network. Your primary responsibilities include identifying, reaching out to, and qualifying potential partners who can integrate, resell, or develop solutions on Odoo’s platform. You will collaborate closely with the Partner Recruitment team to ensure our partners receive the support they need and are positioned for success. This role demands exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for fostering long-term business relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential partners who can benefit from partnering with Odoo.
  • Contact prospective partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media (LinkedIn)
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand the prospect’s business model, capabilities, and alignment with Odoo’s partnership goals
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and schedule appointments with key decision-makers
  • Utilize CRM tools to track interactions and maintain detailed records of prospect engagements
  • Assist the Partner Recruitment team during the negotiation and closing of partnerships.
  • Gain industry knowledge of ERP, CRM, HCM, and POS sectors
  • Understand Odoo’s business model, competitive advantages, and value proposition


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in a business-related field) or equivalent education and experience
  • Exceptional communication skills with a confident and engaging personality
  • Strong awareness of software and new technologies
  • Curiosity to learn how businesses operate


Nice To Have:

  • 1+ years of professional and/or internship experience in sales, marketing, recruiting, lead generation, inside/outside sales, or related experience in a quota-carrying role
  • Experience with accounting, manufacturing, inventory, CRM, POS, and/or E-commerce software
  • SaaS or PaaS pre/post-sales experience
  • Ability to balance a serious approach to work with fostering a playful and friendly atmosphere among colleagues

The estimated annual compensation range for this role is $73,000-$80,000 OTE (on-target earnings), with a base salary range of $61,000-$68,000.
