Oxford Solutions is hiring aCustomer Service Representative for an onsite, contract to hire role in Altoona, PA.
This position is ideal for someone with call center or customer service experience who is comfortable working on the phone, navigating multiple computer systems, and handling detailed customer requests.
In this role, you will support refund-related inquiries, research customer issues, and process transactions while delivering professional, customer-focused service. Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and reliability are essential for success.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer and internal inquiries related to refunds and payment activity
- Process refund requests, adjustments, and transfers accurately and in a timely manner
- Research discrepancies involving credit/debit and check refunds
- Document refund activity, including tracking larger transactions
- Update internal teams on refund status and resolution progress
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and supporting documentation
- Assist with identifying trends, recurring issues, and process improvements
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of customer service experience; call center experience strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems and screens
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and general PC applications
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working a set onsite schedule
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and customer-focused in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities
