Job Summary
Practice Track Faculty (Relief Veterinarians) are hired on a part-time basis to augment the veterinary service needs that current faculty members are not available to meet. Qualified veterinarians will be chosen from the Practice Track Faculty (Relief Veterinarians) Pool to participate in additional application/selection processes as specific needs arise.
Essential Job Duties
  • Provide veterinary clinical services to the clients seeking veterinary care at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH).
  • Provide clinical rounds to the students on the clinical rotations.
  • Other service activities defined in the future at Tuskegee University as required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A DVM degree is required.
  • Must have an Alabama license to practice veterinary medicine.
  • At least 1 year experience in a clinical/general practice.
  • Specialty training is highly desired.
