Job Description
Join our growing veterinary team in the Las Vegas Valley as a Driver and Mobile Veterinary Ultrasound Assistant! In this role, you'll support multiple sonographers by safely transporting equipment, assisting with ultrasound setup, and helping care for small animal patients across a variety of locations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided mid-sized SUV to travel to scheduled ultrasound appointments throughout the Las Vegas Valley
- Set up, handle, and sanitize ultrasound equipment before and after each appointment
- Assist sonographers by preparing and gently restraining small animal patients (dogs and cats)
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Accurately record and manage patient and equipment data
- Plan efficient daily driving routes to stay on schedule
- Communicate proactively with the scheduling team to coordinate appointments
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and compliance protocols
- Keep vehicle, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable and confident driving in Las Vegas Valley traffic, including varied neighborhoods and locations
- Ability to lift and safely restrain animals weighing over 100 lbs, with reasonable assistance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a variable daily schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a driver, courier, or field service role
- Comfort working around medical/diagnostic equipment
- On-the-job training provided for ultrasound equipment handling and patient assistance — no ultrasound experience necessary!
