ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an Advanced Veterinary Clinical Applications Specialist to support ultrasound system installations, product demonstrations, trade shows and clinical education. This role will collaborate closely with the product management team to provide veterinary market insights and feedback. This role involves working directly with veterinary professionals in small animal, equine, and specialty practices to ensure optimal use of our ultrasound technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
  • Deliver on-site clinical training and workflow integration for veterinary ultrasound systems
  • Conduct ultrasound product demonstrations and evaluations in a variety of veterinary care settings
  • Provide clinical expertise during installations and initial system setup
  • Collaborate with the product management and service teams to report on and improve product performance through field feedback
  • Complete site reports and product feedback promptly following collaborative tasks with HQ and the product team
  • Support the sales team with clinical expertise and customer engagement
  • Monitor customer satisfaction post-installation
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive, patient, customer-focused attitude
  • Manage time effectively and make sound business decisions
  • Complete all required training and stay current on product knowledge, including competitor offerings
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and work processes
  • Follow travel, expense, and meeting guidelines
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Other duties may be assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • RDMS certification required ; must possess excellent knowledge of the technical and clinical aspects of diagnostic ultrasound.
  • Minimum of 5 years commercial experience in clinical applications or simalar role
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in veterinary ultrasound (small animal, equine, or specialty preferred)
  • Ability to travel on short notice and stay overnight as needed
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customers
  • Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record are mandatory
  • Must pass background and drug screening (pre- and post-employment)
  • Experience managing budgets, expenses, and resources is required
  • Must be self-motivated, results-oriented and team-focused
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire

COMPUTER & ANALYTIC SKILLS
  • Must be excellent with technology, able to present using a laptop and able demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and web browsers (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
  • Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when travelling
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple days
  • Regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather).
  • Interaction with x-ray devices; for this reason strict safety and tracking programs are in place, requiring the utilization of dose monitoring equipment either full time or as necessitated by situation
  • The noise level in the work environment is occasionally very loud.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus
