Are you passionate about providing top-notch care for our furry friends? The Pet Stop Veterinary Clinic in Lonsdale, MN is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician at our full-service clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of animals and assist in providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. If you are looking for a rewarding career in veterinary medicine, we want to hear from you!

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians in small animal care
  • Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
  • Provide preventive care services to patients
  • Perform IV catheterization and sample collection

Required Skills:

  • Registered or Certified Veterinary Technician
  • Experience with anesthesia, catheterization, and medication administration
  • Ability to perform venipuncture, x-rays, and ultrasound
  • Knowledge of internal medicine, lab procedures, and surgery
  • Experience in critical care, triage, and discharge planning
  • Client Education
  • Nail Trimming
  • Knowledge of veterinary specific software

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in ultrasound and sample collection
