Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinary Technician who is passionate about animal care and thrives in a team-oriented, high-standard clinical setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and confident in both patient care and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
Safely restrain animals for procedures
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and sample collection
Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures
Take and develop radiographs (X-rays)
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Provide clear client communication and discharge instructions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment and hospital areas
Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications

Veterinary Technician experience required (3 + years)
Certification/Licensure (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques
Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support preferred
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and client service skills
Knows how to work IDEXX machines in-house
Team player with a positive and professional attitude
Experience with Avimark is a plus
