Rapid Prototyping Mission Technology Lead
The Opportunity:
You know that project managers touch every single part of a business and wear multiple hats: from caring for the client and their meaningful project goals to participating in business development and being a key contributor to their employees' growth. We're looking for someone like you to design, implement, and maintain strategic, multi-disciplinary IT programs for our Global Defense Market in support of corporate strategy. You'll apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. You'll work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. You'll also operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.
As a leader on our team, you'll oversee the delivery of the most advanced digital solutions. As you guide your team, you'll partner with clients to understand their mission-critical technology gaps and translate those challenges into technical product solutions across C5ISR, autonomy, electromagnetic spectrum, and warfighter technology spaces. You'll move quickly in an exciting and fluid environment to lead the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement met rics to track progress, while working across our Defense Technology Group ( DTG ) and entire Global Defense Sector to make a tangible difference.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in the Department of War
  • 6+ years of experience with defense mission technical support, including in a project manager or advisory role
  • Experience delivering digital technologies to the Department of War, including cloud systems or edge communications
  • Experience leading teams in technology development or operations, including in the C2 or ISR space, including programs of record such as Maven Smart Systems and Lattice
  • Experience in the coordination of testing events for disruptive systems, supporting or hosted by the Department of War
  • Experience connecting agencies and facilitating communications that led to actions of specific technology or data transfer
  • Ability to vet team members and construct a cross-functional "tiger team" of technical and mission spe cia lists to lead technology integration
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience in the integration of artifi cia l intelligence technology into digital solutions for the Department of War
  • Experience in rapid prototyping processes or agencies to deliver new technology that integrate into operational systems
  • Experience with keyboard technology development in cloud service provider technology such as Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Ability to plan low-TRL capability experimentation events and turn client feedback into feature development
  • TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
