Aon is looking for a US Reinsurance Senior Managing Director - Actuarial This is a fully virtual role, which can be performed from anywhere within the United States As a leader on the Actuarial team, you will play an integral role delivering analytics solutions and risk management consulting for Aon Reinsurance Solutions clients. The role is for an individual with a strong analytics background who is familiar with reinsurance pricing, stochastic modeling and capital allocation. Candidates will help broker teams achieve successful reinsurance placements optimizing outcomes for clients.

Candidates can also articulate cost benefit trade-offs to decision makers to help ensure goals are achieved delivering the Best of Aon. Positive outcomes are highly correlated with strong teamwork. Key Responsibilities Lead and perform complex actuarial studies; seek solutions to client or prospect issues, which Aon can solve, replicate and scale. Contribute to RFP development and articulation of Aon's actuarial team offering.

Contribute to thought leadership that develops an Aon point of view and market insights used to build relationships with clients and prospects. Drive revenue growth through data innovation, predictive modeling, and actionable insights; demonstrating Aon's differentiated value proposition. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and incorporate new techniques and technologies into your work.

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, delivering high-impact solutions that address complex business challenges. Responsible for client and broker relationship management and delivery of reinsurance analytics across multiple accounts. Ensure delivery of exceptional client value through tailored analytics and deep customer expertise.

Collaborate with business leaders across solution lines to deliver all that Aon has to offer. Contribute and/or lead ideation in continued efficiency measures for the team through various methods (driving use of Aon standard output, employing technology to drive insights and outcomes at scale, etc.). Champion talent development, mentorship, and succession planning within the actuarial and analytics function.

Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in team development and daily interactions. Drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities through data-driven insights and collaboration. Skills and experience that will lead to success 12+ years of experience in analytics, actuarial, or related fields, with leadership roles in large organizations.

Credentialed FCAS Extensive experience in the insurance or consulting industry Strong proficiency in R (or similar programming language), SQL, and MS Office suite, particularly Excel/VBA and PowerPoint Expertise in enterprise risk, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics platforms. Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities. Ability to identify and resolve problems, think creatively, strategically and analytically.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Ability to work independently and in team environment. Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
