Job Summary:
The Home Health Billing & Coding Specialist will manage the medical billing and coding tasks for home health patients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and insurance regulations. The ideal candidate has a proven background in home health billing and coding, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process billing and coding information for home health services, including skilled nursing, therapy, and hospice care.

  • Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes in accordance with current regulations and payer guidelines.

  • Submit claims to insurance providers and follow up on denied or pending claims.

  • Maintain accurate patient and billing records, ensuring HIPAA compliance.

  • Collaborate with clinical teams to verify documentation completeness and accuracy.

  • Monitor billing metrics and produce reports to support revenue cycle management.

Qualifications:
