Job description

FUN.com is looking for a Product Development Assistant to support our Product Development team! In this role, you'll help keep projects on track by organizing incoming costume and apparel samples, entering new projects into our tracking system, preparing samples for photography, and providing general administrative support to the team.
If you're organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product development while supporting the creation of exciting Halloween costumes, apparel, and pop-culture products. No previous experience is required-we'll train the right person. A love of costumes, fashion, and pop culture is a plus!
Wage: $17.50/hr
Requirements
Responsibilities
โ€ข Unpack newly arrived sample costumes and product samples. Track, log, organize, and notify developers of new arrivals
โ€ข Prep samples for being transferred to photography department
โ€ข Data entry/Pulling Basic Reports
โ€ข Project Workflow Management
โ€ข Keeping files up to date
โ€ข Organizing data
โ€ข Requesting fabrics from factories/maintaining
โ€ข Sample Management
โ€ข Pull samples from warehouse, as needed
โ€ข Coordinate sample shipments and internal sample organization
โ€ข Assist with fabric, trim, and factory sourcing requests as needed
โ€ข Assist with general office organization & administrative support
โ€ข Assist Product Developers in day-to-day functions
Qualifications
โ€ข High school diploma or GED
โ€ข Experience with Microsoft Office suite
โ€ข Strong organization skills
โ€ข High attention to detail
โ€ข Desire to learn about costume/apparel development process
โ€ข Team player and ability to multitask
โ€ข Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
โ€ข A positive and proactive attitude, Strong at building relationships, capable of working independently. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
โ€ข Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 35-50 lbs., bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing and pulling
โ€ข Ability to lift and organize garment samples and development materials
โ€ข Location will be based onsite in Mankato office
