Responsabilités principales
Gestion de la paie
  • Préparer, traiter et valider la paie hebdomadaire canadienne dans Payworks ainsi que la paie américaine dans Paychex, en assurant l’exactitude et le respect des échéanciers.
  • Effectuer les changements liés à la paie, notamment :
    • les embauches et cessations d’emploi;
    • les changements salariaux;
    • les primes;
    • les avantages imposables;
    • les indemnités de vacances;
    • les congés fériés;
    • tout autre ajustement requis.
  • Administrer les retenues et ajustements de paie, incluant les cotisations aux régimes d’épargne-retraite, les saisies salariales et autres déductions autorisées.
  • Soutenir la gestion des dossiers liés aux congés légaux, aux dossiers CNESST et aux absences des employés.
  • Maintenir des dossiers de paie précis, confidentiels et à jour, incluant les renseignements sur les employés et les soldes de vacances.
Conformité et rapports de paie
  • Vérifier l’exactitude des données de paie, analyser les écarts et effectuer les conciliations nécessaires.
  • S’assurer que les processus de paie respectent les exigences légales applicables, les contrôles internes et les politiques de l’entreprise.
  • Préparer et compléter les remises gouvernementales, relevés d’emploi, activités de fin d’année et rapports liés à la paie.
  • Répondre aux questions des employés concernant la paie et maintenir la documentation nécessaire.
Collaboration interne
  • Collaborer avec les équipes des ressources humaines et des finances afin d’assurer que les changements liés aux employés et à la rémunération sont correctement reflétés dans les systèmes de paie.
  • Fournir un soutien administratif lié aux processus de rémunération et aux dossiers employés.
Profil recherché
Expérience et qualifications
  • 2 à 3 années d’expérience pertinente en administration de la paie.
  • Excellente connaissance des processus de paie canadiens.
  • Expérience avec la paie américaine (un atout important).
  • Connaissance des réglementations de paie du Québec, de l’Ontario, de l’Alberta et des États-Unis.
  • Expérience avec les logiciels : Payworks (Canada) & Paychex (États-Unis)
  • Formation ou expérience équivalente en paie, administration ou ressources humaines.
  • Bilinguisme français/anglais requis.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
  • Prepare, process, and validate weekly Canadian payroll through Payworks and U.S. payroll through Paychex, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Process payroll-related changes, including:
    • new hires and terminations;
    • salary adjustments;
    • bonuses;
    • taxable benefits;
    • vacation payouts;
    • statutory holiday pay;
    • and other required payroll adjustments.
  • Manage payroll deductions and adjustments, including retirement contributions, wage garnishments, and other authorized deductions.
  • Support payroll administration related to statutory leaves, CNESST files, and employee leave situations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records, employee payroll information, and vacation balances.
Payroll Compliance & Reporting
  • Review payroll data for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and perform payroll reconciliations as required.
  • Ensure payroll processes comply with applicable legislation, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Ensure government remittances, Records of Employment (ROEs), year-end payroll activities, and related reporting are completed accurately and on time.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries and maintain required documentation and supporting records.
Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with Human Resources and Finance teams to ensure employee changes, compensation updates, and payroll information are accurately reflected.
  • Provide payroll support related to employee records and compensation administration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of payroll administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll processes.
  • Experience processing U.S. payroll is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of payroll requirements across Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, and the United States.
  • Experience with: Payworks (Canada) & Paychex (U.S.)
  • Payroll, accounting, administration, or HR background preferred.
  • Fully bilingual in French and English.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
