PART TIME Occupational Health Nurse
Job Description
Eagle Health is seeking a PART TIME (20 hours/week) Monday through Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm. Occupational Health Nurse to join our team in support of a new opportunity in New York City, NY.
The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $62.21 per hour for up to 40 hours per week. This is comprised of a base hourly rate of $57.12 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. The above range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a 401K with company match.
The Occupational Health Nurse's duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Provide advice and guidance to the FDIC OM or his/her designee, within his/her scope of practice regarding occupational health
  • Provide all related medical/clinical services including first aid, medical procedures, counseling, assessment, teaching and follow-up
  • Be responsive to customer needs to ensure excellence in customer service
  • Monitor and report to PM any patient behavioral abnormalities
  • Administer immunizations, inoculations and medications as assigned and in accordance with CONTRACTOR Standing Orders
  • Assist in developing and maintaining confidential patient records
  • Perform clerical duties such as answering the phone, typing filing and copying documents
  • Check emails sent by employees to the secured mailbox associated with the region that they are working in
  • Maintain inventories (furniture and equipment) for health unit
    • Inventory must specify if furniture or equipment was provided by FDIC.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university
  • Certified by the American Board of OH Nurses
  • Possess appropriate licensing and certifications and is Board Certified in his/her respective assigned work area
  • Demonstrated expertise and training in OH services
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in medical procedures, patient care and OH or community health programs
  • CPR/AED Certified
  • Fully capable of administering emergency first-aid treatment, including the use of AEDs
  • Demonstrated proficiency in appropriate computer software systems (Microsoft Office)
