Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse responsible for administering medical care, performing clinical and diagnostic tests, and assisting in minor surgical procedures within a team-oriented environment. The role involves documenting medical histories, maintaining accurate medical records, and promoting wellness programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer professional nursing care to sick and/or injured employees.
  • Perform and evaluate various clinical and diagnostic tests.
  • Assist plant physician in minor surgical procedures.
  • Interview and document medical history of employees.
  • Maintain appropriate medical records to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Perform and document physical exams.
  • Adhere to common practices and procedures throughout the department.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with the promotion of plant wellness programs.
  • Interface with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner.

Qualifications
  • State licensed RN
  • BLS
  • Experience in Occupational Health, Urgent Care, ER preferred
