Job Overview:
Day to day, you would be responsible for providing care to patients. Our nursing staff demonstrates their knowledge, critical thinking, and judgment. Services provided by the RN include supervising care delivered, coordinating plans of care, and providing education for patients/families. This 43 private bed plus suite unit provides care for surgical/medical patients, with an emphasis on the post-operative patient. The staff on Surgical Medical Care Center (SMCC) provides care to a wide variety of patients including trauma patients, post-operative patients, genito-urinary procedures, head and neck cases, bariatric surgical procedures and multiple medical conditions. SMCC is recognized for its teamwork and dedication to quality care and patient safety. SMCC is sought after by Schools of Nursing for the wide variety of learning experiences, teamwork, patient population, knowledge of complex wound management, and nursing expertise.
Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensed state
