Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist (Lathe) to join a locally owned and operated precision machining and hydraulic services company in Evansville, IN. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on machining experience who takes pride in producing high-quality parts and supporting reliable repair solutions.
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate manual lathe machines to perform turning, facing, drilling, and threading operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
  • Troubleshoot and make adjustments or repairs to equipment as needed
  • Perform maintenance and light repair work on hydraulic machinery
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
