Job description

Toussaint Productions is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of logistical operations for our events and productions. You will coordinate transportation, manage schedules, and work closely with vendors and team members to oversee the delivery, setup, and teardown of equipment. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is highly organized, and thrives in a dynamic environment where flexibility and problem-solving are key. As a Logistics Coordinator with Toussaint Productions, you will contribute to the seamless delivery of our events, helping us maintain our reputation for outstanding production quality and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage logistics planning for events, including transportation, equipment delivery, and setup/takedown schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of logistics.
  • Maintain detailed schedules and documentation related to event logistics and production timelines.
  • Assist in inventory management and tracking of production equipment and materials.
  • Resolve logistical issues proactively and efficiently to minimize disruptions during events.
  • Support event staff during setup, events, and teardown as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during loading, unloading, and transportation activities.
  • Assist with administrative duties related to logistics coordination as required.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in logistics coordination, event planning, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Availability to work part-time hours, including some evenings or weekends depending on event schedules.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
