We have two part-time job classifications available!
  • Regularly Scheduled Part-time with Benefits - This is a benefited position ( Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO) that will require a minimum of 7 shifts per month in a regularly scheduled position.
  • Standard part-time - Must submit a minimum of 5 days of availability per month and work a minimum of two shifts a month and no more than 6 six shifts a month.

We are currently hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in our progressive EMS 911 system. With over 17,000 calls for service annually you will get to provide ALS care and transport in fast-paced system while working and living in an outdoor enthusiast's dream location!
AMR Josephine County participates in a wide array of opportunities available within our GMR Family of healthcare solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols in a 911 system running about 17,000 requests per year.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills in a progressive medical system to the full scope of an Oregon Paramedic.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • State Paramedic License
  • State Driver's License
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS or ITLS
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy
  • Pass Physical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
