Margate Health & Rehabilitation located in beautiful Jefferson North Carolina is currently seeking a part time Housekeeping Aide to join our fantastic team of caregivers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Clean lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, patient rooms, offices, halls, nurses' stations, dining rooms, and beauty parlor.
  • Sweep and mop floors, clean rugs, carpets, and furniture.
  • Clean toilets, sinks, and other restroom fixtures.
  • Dust furniture, pictures, and baseboard. Wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty and clean wastebaskets.
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies for hand washing at sink areas.
  • Replenish disposable gloves for nursing.
  • Clean and disinfect oxygen machines and other equipment.
  • Disinfect patient beds, mattress, furniture, drawers, bathroom, and closet when patient has been discharged.
  • Follow guidelines for labeling of cleaning supplies, wearing appropriate personal protection equipment, etc.
  • Label products and bottles according to facility guidelines.
