What You'll Do

As Medical Director, you will provide both administrative leadership and direct patient care services. You'll partner with executive leadership to develop clinical strategy, oversee quality improvement initiatives, support regulatory compliance, and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic clinical leadership for Boundless Health
  • Supervising and mentoring clinical providers and staff
  • Leading quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives
  • Driving performance related to UDS, HEDIS, PCMH, and other quality measures
  • Supporting patient safety, infection control, and risk management efforts
  • Collaborating with internal and external healthcare partners
  • Delivering comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan
  • Managing acute and chronic conditions while promoting preventive care
  • Supporting growth and innovation within the health center

Minimum Qualifications

  • Board Certified Physician in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
  • Active Ohio medical license in good standing, or the ability to obtain Ohio licensure
  • Experience providing primary care in a community health or public health
  • Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Knowledge of quality initiatives, healthcare compliance, and clinical operations
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Knowledge of Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) accreditation standards
  • Experience with UDS reporting, HEDIS measures, and Meaningful Use requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
  • Previous physician leadership, medical director, or clinical management experience
