Job description

Psychologist – Veteran Disability Evaluations (1099, Part-Time)

Location: Wilmington, NC
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 day per week)
Compensation: $600–$750 per day
Employment Type: 1099 Contract

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct one-time psychological and behavioral health evaluations for Veterans as part of the disability claims process
• Perform clinical interviews, mental health assessments, and comprehensive record reviews
• Assess psychiatric and psychological conditions in support of Veteran disability evaluations
• Work in a low-volume setting, typically seeing 1–5 Veterans per day
• Complete documentation electronically through a secure platform
• Receive fully provided technology, training, and clinical support

What You WON’T Do:

• No ongoing therapy or counseling sessions
• No treatment planning or long-term patient management
• No prescribing responsibilities
• No disability rating calculations or benefits determinations
• No scheduling responsibilities or walk-in patients
• No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities
