Job description

Seaside Vacation Homes โ€“ Seaside, Oregon

Part-Time | Sunday & Monday Core Schedule | Additional Hours Available

Looking for a part-time housekeeping job with flexible hours, beautiful properties, and a team that takes pride in doing things the right way?

Seaside Vacation Homes is hiring a dependable Part-Time Vacation Rental Housekeeper to join our property management and housekeeping team in Seaside, OR. Sunday and Monday are our core days for this position, with opportunities to pick up additional hours based on availability and business needs.

We manage more than 60 vacation homes and condos plus 24 Tiny Homes, and cleanliness is one of the things that sets our rental program apart. We work hard to maintain a high standard so our housekeepers aren't constantly correcting work that others have rushed through or overlooked.

If you take pride in a clean property and enjoy working both independently and as part of a capable team, we would like to hear from you.

PAY & SCHEDULE

Our office operates from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while many of our part-time housekeeping team members typically work approximately 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Sunday and Monday are the core workdays
  • Additional hours may be available upon request and availability
  • We welcome candidates looking for 20+ hours per week as well as those primarily interested in picking up a weekend/core day
  • Flexible scheduling opportunities
  • Compensation may be hourly or piecework depending on the schedule
  • Training pay starts at $18.00 per hour
  • Experienced staff can earn summer bonuses equivalent to $21.60 per hour

We value our part-time employees and understand that flexibility matters.

HOUSEKEEPING & CLEANING EXPERIENCE

Previous professional cleaning experience is welcomed but candidates from a variety of related backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Relevant experience may include:

  • Housekeeping or residential cleaning
  • Professional cleaner or maid service
  • Hotel room attendant or housekeeping attendant
  • Housekeeper or house person
  • Vacation rental cleaning
  • Laundry
  • Custodial work or custodian experience
  • Property management or property manager experience

If you have experience caring for homes, rentals, hotel rooms, condos, or similar properties-and you care about the quality of your work-your background may be a good fit for our team.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

To be considered for this position:

  • We are a Drug-Free Workplace and conduct testing
  • You must have a reliable car or truck available to get to work that is not shared with another person
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • You must have an established residence on the North Coast or a definite transition plan, such as an established lease
  • A clean driving record is required if you would like opportunities to become involved with Operations and Guest Services
WHY JOIN SEASIDE VACATION HOMES?

We have built a housekeeping and property management program designed to reward people who take their work seriously while still offering flexibility for part-time team members.

Our team members enjoy:

  • Flexible scheduling
  • Built-in performance rewards
  • Opportunities for advancement
  • Ongoing training, education, certifications, and professional development
  • The opportunity to learn and advance at your own pace
  • Beautiful vacation homes and condos that create an exceptional work environment
  • The opportunity to work independently as well as alongside teammates
  • High-quality properties in some of the best locations on the North Coast
  • The chance to work with a team focused on thoughtful travelers, property owners, and strong guest experiences

We want our employees to have the tools and support necessary to do excellent work-not to spend their day making up for people who cut corners.

BENEFITS & GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

Part-time employees are an important part of our team and have access to flexible scheduling, ongoing training, education, and professional development opportunities.

For employees who move into eligible full-time positions, additional benefits include:

  • Paid vacation
  • Profit Sharing Retirement Fund
  • Health Care Reimbursement Program

There are also opportunities for employees who demonstrate initiative and strong performance to grow into additional areas of our vacation rental and property management operation.
