Tri-State Perinatology, the regional leader in providing compassionate, high-risk obstetrical care to women in our community, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our talented staff of health care professionals. 

Location: Deaconess Women's Hospital, Tri-State Perinatology Office

Hours: PRN, Days as needed: Monday thru Friday, 10-Hour Shifts, 7:30am-5:30pm

Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner obtains patient history and conducts physical exams; utilizes the GE ViewPoint computer system; identifies and addresses patient and family teaching needs; provides diabetic education; knowledgeable of high-risk pregnancy conditions and insurance requirements; develops plan of care by collaborating with the physician and other team members; makes appropriate referrals; performs postpartum exams; serves as a resource for staff and the hospital; and manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing Degree-CNM, NP or CNS. Two years’ experience in the practice area is preferred.

Certificates/Licenses

Must maintain a current Indiana RN license or is eligible; maintain the Advanced Practice Nurse certification; and maintain current BLS certification. Kentucky and Illinois RN license preferred. The RN will adhere to the American Nurses Association Bill of Rights by establishing and maintaining workplace expectations and environments, which support sound professional nursing practice.
