Description
The Part-Time Licensed Social Worker provides individualized mental health services to preschool-age children and families participating in CAPE's Growing Healthy Minds Initiative. The Licensed Social Worker supports the social-emotional development of young children through assessment, consultation, intervention, and collaboration with teachers, Behavioral Specialists, Parent Coaches, Family Advocates, and families. This position utilizes evidence-based, trauma-informed practices to promote healthy development, school readiness, and family well-being while supporting the goals of CAPE's Early Childhood Education Program and Head Start Performance Standards. This is a two-year grant funded position.
Requirements
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited or Board-approved program.
  • Current Indiana Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in good standing.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervised post-MSW clinical experience.
  • Successful completion of the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Clinical Examination.

OR
Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited program.
  • Current Indiana Licensed Social Worker (LSW) license in good standing.
  • Successful completion of the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Licensed Social Worker Examination.
