What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the banking location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and other security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when required.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, while communicating observations and concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
