Overview
The Technology Support Intern will serve as a member of the Technology Services Help Desk team providing timely, courteous, and expert administrative support to all Firm users. This will be a regular part-time position enabling the individual to be hands-on with basic technology support, while also having an opportunity to learn advanced technology support skills which will allow a transition to a fill-time position if one becomes available. This in-person internship will start in June 2026 with a tentative end date of June 2027.
Qualifications
  • The intern must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a major in Information Technology or similar field of study.
  • The student should be a junior or senior and possess strong written and verbal communications skills as well as strong technical and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Windows and MS Office software.
  • Ability to work a minimum of at least 24 hours per week with no maximum - OT available.

Major Responsibilities
  • Assists the Help Desk team to deliver technology support.
  • Perform inventory counts of hardware and software as requested.
  • Unpack technical equipment validating components.
  • Tag electronic equipment with asset (identification) tags.
  • Image and install operating systems and software applications in accordance with Firm standards.
  • Deploy and connect equipment to team members.
  • Assists with troubleshooting hardware/software issues
  • All other duties, as assigned.

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, including sense of urgency and proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work on and successfully complete multiple projects at the same time.

Working Conditions
  • The typical operating office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and expectations.
  • Travel for this position will be minimal.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout office.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30-50 pounds.
  • Ability to speak English to communicate with clients, team members, etc.
