ADULT MINISTRIES PART-TIME ADMIN
Lakeland Community Church | lakeland.church
Position: Part-Time (Approximately 28 Hours/Week)
Location: Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
Reports to: Adult Ministries Pastor
About Lakeland
Lakeland Community Church is a vibrant, growing community of Christ-followers in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, leading people to follow Jesus, be changed by Jesus, and commit to the mission of Jesus...because lives are at stake.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Adult Ministries Admin provides organizational leadership behind the scenes that allows ministry to flourish. This role serves as the operational hub for Adult Ministries environments-including Groups, Care, Missions, Guest Services, and Latino Ministry, ensuring that every ministry environment is organized, every leader is equipped, and every guest experiences excellence - by creating systems, managing communication, coordinating events, and ensuring multiple ministry leaders are equipped to serve people well. The Adult Ministries Admin is a key partner in helping people take their next step toward Jesus.
YOU WILL:
Keep Ministry Organized
Maintain accurate records, registrations, attendance, and ministry information while ensuring administrative systems remain current, organized, and effective.
Coordinate Ministry Experiences
Support the planning and execution of classes, events, gatherings, and special initiatives by managing registrations, room reservations, childcare, resources, and event logistics.
Drive Communication
Prepare and distribute ministry communications, volunteer reminders, follow-up emails, promotional materials, and ministry resources that keep people informed and engaged.
Manage Ministry Systems
Maintain Community Church Builder (CCB) records, forms, workflows, queues, and reporting systems that help ministry leaders make informed decisions and care well for people.
Support Ministry Leaders
Serve Adult Ministry staff and volunteer leaders by anticipating administrative needs, solving problems, and providing dependable support that allows them to focus on ministry.
Create Excellent Experiences
Ensure every administrative detail-from printed materials to event preparation-is completed with professionalism, accuracy, and a spirit of hospitality.
Strengthen Ministry Effectiveness
Generate reports, monitor engagement, and help improve ministry processes that increase efficiency and support healthy ministry growth.
YOU HAVE:
A Heart for Ministry
You love helping people follow Jesus and understand that great administration creates opportunities for life change.
Exceptional Organizational Skills
You love naturally bringing order to complexity and chaos, managing multiple priorities well, and consistently following through on details.
Strong Administrative Ability
You love managing calendars, databases, forms, reports, ministry systems and crossing things off your list, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Excellent Communication Skills
You love communicating clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person, creating confidence and clarity for staff, volunteers, and guests.
A Systems Mindset
You love solving problems before anyone notices them, building efficient processes, improving workflows, and finding better ways to support ministry through organization and technology.
A Collaborative Spirit
You love serving behind the scenes, work well with teams, and bring a positive, servant-hearted attitude to every interaction in a fast-paced environment where priorities change, details matter, and every week looks a little different.
An Internal Drive
You love taking initiative without being asked, seeing needs before they become problems, to help people feel cared for through thoughtful details.
A Strong Lakeland DNA Match
You love growing your relationship with Jesus, embrace Lakeland's mission and values, and faithfully represent the culture of our church through humility, integrity, excellence, and servant leadership.
