Job description

Part-Time Project Administrator - Flexible Schedule

Have a few hours a day, or a few days a week, you'd like to put to good use?

Current Electric is looking for an exceptionally organized and detail-driven Part-Time Project Administrator to support our Install & Remodel team. This could be a great fit for someone looking for meaningful, flexible part-time work without necessarily looking for a traditional full-time position.

You don't need an electrical background to be successful here. We're looking for someone who is a quick learner, comfortable with technology, great with numbers and details, and naturally good at keeping things organized and moving forward.

If you're the person who catches the detail everyone else missed, enjoys checking things off a list, and doesn't mind learning new systems, we'd like to talk to you.

Who We Are

Join our award-winning team at Current Electric and be part of a culture that values innovation, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Our employees are at the heart of our success, working collaboratively to achieve shared goals and create a positive impact.

Why Choose Current Electric

  • Competitive hourly pay (commensurate with experience)
  • Flexible part-time schedule
  • Employee bonus referral program
  • Professional development opportunities

The Big Tasks of a Project Administrator

The Project Administrator will support the Install & Remodel Department by managing project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring seamless communication between teams and clients. This role is essential for maintaining project timelines and delivering top-tier service.

Key Sub Tasks for the Project Administrator Role

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and submit necessary permits.
  • Navigate post-installation inspections.
  • Foster positive client relationships through exceptional service.

You May Be a Great Fit If...

  • You are exceptionally detail-oriented, accuracy matters to you.
  • You're comfortable with numbers; bookkeeping, accounting, billing, or similar experience is a plus.
  • You're a quick learner and aren't intimidated by new technology or software.
  • You naturally create organization and follow-up when there are lots of moving pieces.
  • You're comfortable working independently and asking questions when something doesn't look right.
  • You communicate professionally and enjoy helping both coworkers and customers.
  • You can manage several priorities without losing track of the details.
  • Previous administrative, project admin, accounting, construction, or service-industry experience is helpful, but we're more interested in your aptitude and attention to detail than a specific job title.
  • Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus, but we'll teach the right person.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Here's What You Can Expect When You Join Us
