Job description

Position Summary: The Safety Administrator is responsible for supporting the organization's safety and compliance programs through accurate data management, vendor platform administration, and effective communication. This role ensures all safety records, training, and compliance requirements are maintained and up to date while upholding strict confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage safety compliance platforms such as ISNetworld, DISA, and Avetta, ensuring all company information is current and accurate
  • Track, monitor, and update employee safety training records and certifications
  • Assist in coordinating and administering safety training programs and onboarding requirements
  • Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Generate reports and provide documentation related to safety compliance and audits
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, employees, and external vendors regarding safety requirements and updates
  • Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality standards when handling sensitive employee and company information
  • Support compliance efforts by maintaining records in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience with ISNetworld, DISA, Avetta, or similar contractor compliance platforms
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), with emphasis on data tracking and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
  • Experience in safety training coordination, tracking, and compliance preferred

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a safety, compliance, or HR-related role

Work Environment:

  • Office-based role with frequent computer use
  • May require coordination with field personnel and external vendors
  • Part-time, 20-hours per week
