Job description

SUMMARY:
Drive sales growth and profitability for a corrugated packaging facility by managing sales initiatives, overseeing the sales team, and cultivating strong customer relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet volume, product mix, and profitability goals.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend adjustments to products, personnel, and equipment.
  • Lead and support the sales team by recruiting, training, and motivating team members.
  • Maintain relationships with key customers and oversee credit management.
  • Prepare and manage the annual sales budget.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
  • 5+ years in sales and supervisory roles.
  • Strong understanding of profit/loss analysis, estimating, and sales metrics.
  • Proven leadership, team-building, and problem-solving abilities.
  • College degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS:
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, calculate pricing, and track key performance indicators.
  • Strong decision-making and crisis management skills.
