What you can expect as a Sales Representative at West Star:
The Sales Representative supports the sales team in identifying and developing opportunities for aircraft interior refurbishment, exterior paint, maintenance events, and modification work packages within a corporate aviation maintenance and refurbishment environment.
Working alongside Sales Managers, Interior Designers, and technical teams, the Sales Representative assists in customer engagement, proposal preparation, and opportunity tracking while building foundational knowledge of aircraft maintenance and modifications services, interior design concepts, and consultative selling practices. This role is designed to develop interior design and consultative selling skills that enable career progression into a full-time Interior Designer or Sales Manager role.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions
  • Support prospecting and lead follow-up efforts to identify opportunities for aircraft maintenance, interior refurbishment, paint programs, and modification projects.
  • Participate in discovery conversations with aircraft owners, operators, and flight departments to understand aircraft needs, service objectives, and project priorities.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and preliminary quotes by coordinating with sales leaders, interior design teams, and technical personnel.
  • Develop working knowledge of aircraft interiors, materials, refurbishment programs, paint processes, and maintenance work packages to support customer discussions and solution development.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system to support pipeline visibility and forecasting.
  • Assist in coordinating customer visits, facility tours, and early-stage project discussions to support a high-quality customer experience.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in one of the following or a related program:
  • Business Administration
  • Marketing
  • Aviation Management

  • Communications

This position provides hands-on exposure to the technical, commercial, and customer-facing aspects of maintenance and modification services. In this role, you will gain experience in:
  • Aircraft Interior Refurbishment - materials, layouts, finishes, and design considerations used in corporate aircraft interiors
  • Aircraft Paint & Exterior Programs - how paint projects are designed, scoped, and executed
  • Aircraft Maintenance Events - how inspections, repairs, and modification work scopes are developed and priced
  • Consultative Sales - understanding customer needs, developing solutions, and presenting service proposals
  • Aviation Customer Engagement - working with aircraft owners, operators, and flight departments
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - partnering with interior designers, technicians, engineers, and sales leaders to develop customer solutions

Career Development Path
This role is designed as an entry point into aircraft maintenance and modification sales and interior design career path. Through hands-on exposure to aircraft maintenance and modifications events, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, the Sales Representative develops foundational knowledge of aircraft interiors, maintenance work scopes, and consultative selling.
With demonstrated performance and skill development, this role may progress into positions such as:

Compensation & Benefit Information
The following information is disclosed according to state specific requirements. If the position applied to is not in a state with these requirements, the following information may not apply. The salary range for this position generally ranges between $55,000 - $65,000. Actual rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package. Other forms of compensation include a semi-annual discretionary bonus, as well as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), paid holidays and vacation time.
