Maximus is seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team!
Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS221, T5, Band 8
Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The System Administrator provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements.
Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. Responsible for supporting deployments of JCC2-R systems on the JCC2 AWS environment, if needed. Will be included as a member of the Fast Action Support Team and shall be responsible for providing critical and/or time sensitive analysis of application issues and providing recommendations for action such as, but not limited to, developing a hotfix or supporting a rollback. Responsible for providing support for the timely deployment of hotfixes/patches when necessary.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Must have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- 10+ years of IT systems administrative experience with both Microsoft and Linux platforms. With 2 years proficient understanding of maintenance (patching, STIG, and upgrade processes) on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- 5 years' experience working with DoD COCOM and other Service Cyber Components.
- Demonstrated experience and/or training in system administration and development best practices in AWS
Required Certifications:
- DoD IAT-II (Security+)
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- AWS Solution Architect
- AWS SysOps Administrator certification
- Red Hat certification
