Job Description:

We're looking for a Store Designer (12 month contract) to play a key role in shaping engaging, customer-focused retail environments across our store network. In this role, you'll develop innovative design solutions, create store fixture layouts, and produce detailed drawings for new builds, relocations, renovations, and special projects; bringing concepts to life from idea through execution. You'll also contribute to evolving store design processes while maintaining accurate drawing archives, giving you the opportunity to influence both design quality and operational efficiency. What You'll Do:

  • Provides Design & CAD functions or overseeing other resources to develop design solutions, store, fixture and merchandising layouts for new, relocation, expansion and remodeled stores. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Design solutions, store, visual, fixture and merchandising layouts for internal review and approval.
  • Tender, permit, construction and signage drawings.
  • Design queries and site clarifications as needed.
  • Provides Landlords/Developers/Vendors with base building requirements and latest store design requirements.
  • Updates and maintains project schedules, ensures all projects are completed in agreed upon timelines and to predetermined standards.
  • Supports all departments in the planning and execution of all initiatives. Performs other assignments as identified by Management.

About You:

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma from a recognized institution in Interior Design or Architectural Technology.
  • Minimum 4 years retail design or field experience.
  • Works well with others, including but not limited to, internal departments and external architects/engineers, building officials, contractors and suppliers.
  • Available for occasional site visits and travel.
  • Computer skills including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD.
