This is a 6-month full-time contract positionย JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of Pharmacy Operations Manager or team lead, the pharmaceutical labeler, ensures labels are placed on packages accurately and efficiently.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Print out labels for medications

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ensure that labels are placed on the correct medication in a timely manner

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assembles, labels and provides supplies as required under specific contracts

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Participates in quality assurance activities as directed

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Performs general housekeeping duties in the department on daily basis

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Files documents appropriately according to P&P's

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Communicates appropriately with all members of the healthcare team.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance activities education programs and department/branch meetings.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Certificates and Experience

ย ย ย ย ย ย  High school diploma or equivalent.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Previous experience working in a fast paced environment which requires a high level of accuracy.

Language Skills

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ability to understand basic medical terminology.

Mathematical Skills

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
