Summary 

The position of Picker and Packer, under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor, is primarily responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role ensures orders are processed efficiently, maintains warehouse organization, and supports inventory control while adhering to all company safety standards.   

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Pick and pack orders accurately in accordance with order pick lists  

  • Verify items, quantities, and condition of products prior to shipment  

  • Print labels and prepare orders for the shipping department  

  • Wrap and strap skids to ensure safe and secure transportation  

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment  

  • Follow all company safety rules, policies, and regulations  

  • Assist in counting of physical inventory and cycle counts as required  

  • Coordinate with shipping personnel to ensure timely order processing  

  • Ensure materials are properly handled and stored  

  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Requirements 

  • High School diploma or GED diploma required   

  • Computer literate, including working knowledge of Excel and email systems.   

  • Prior experience with material handling equipment is preferred  

  • Capable of physical labor (lifting, moving inventory, etc.)   

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment   

  • Highly flexible   

  • Strong team player    

  • Excellent communication and time management 

Working Conditions 

  • Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals. 

  • Overtime as required. 

  • Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. may be required. 

  • Work is performed in a combination of environments. 

  • This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils. 

Position Details 

  • Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm (Onsite) 

  • Based in Mississauga, Ontario 

  • Hourly rate from $19.00-$20.00
