Job description

NOW HIRING – Civil Oversight System One is seeking experienced Civil Oversight for a 4-month contract. The inspector will be responsible oversight of rebar installation and concrete pour/placement. Experience Candidates must have documented experience with:

  • Concrete (required)
  • Rebar (required)
Position Details
  • Location: Aiken, South Caroline
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: 4 month contract with the potential to transition to permanent
  • Per Diem: GSA rate. $178.00
  • Mobilization allowance:
    • $XXX.XX (50–250 miles)
    • $XXX.XX (250+ miles)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee rebar installation and concrete pour/placement as part of construction or inspection teams.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control processes.
  • Conduct site inspections and document findings to support project progression and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Report and escalate any issues related to civil oversights or safety concerns promptly.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 0 years of experience in civil oversight or related field.
  • Documented experience with concrete and rebar installation.
  • Strong understanding of civil/structural construction processes.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work onsite in a construction environment.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
