Job description

Preform Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our dedicated Maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility by maintaining and repairing injection molding, blow molding, and other industrial equipment. With both overnight and dayshift positions available, we offer flexibility to fit your schedule. Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment, including injection and blow molding machines
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal operation
  • Assist with installation of new equipment and completion of designated maintenance projects
  • Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Manager and production staff to prioritize and report on maintenance tasks
  • Work independently to address urgent maintenance needs and support production staff
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and project completion
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and multiple ongoing projects
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read electrical blueprints; ability to read hydraulic schematics preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with rigging, welding, and/or fabrication is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Ability to switch between projects as needed
Compensation

$27–$37 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and training.

Hours

Overnight Opening:

  • Overlap with the dayshift would be imperative to complete any needed training. Whether the hours are 8am-5pm or start later is negotiable.
  • Core hours for this role will be overnight, will work with qualified candidate to determine days and times that will work best with both candidate's schedule and business need. 
Dayshift Opening
  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
  • On-call work as needed (will discuss further during interview process)
