Job description

Help at Home is hiring Overnight Home Care Aides in your community! We offer paid training, and no previous caregiving experience is required.

Candidates must be available to work overnight shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Weekly hours may vary based on client needs and assigned schedules.

What You’ll Do

As an Overnight Home Care Aide, you’ll work one-on-one with clients inside their homes and help provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment throughout the night.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning
  • Personal care activities such as dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals
  • Supporting clients with their overnight routines and other needs
  • Running errands, grocery shopping, or accompanying clients to appointments when required by the client’s schedule


Requirements

  • Must be available to work overnight shifts from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • Must be in good physical health, including documentation of a tuberculosis test completed within six months before the first assignment, where required
  • Must complete organizational and state-required training


Preferred Qualifications

  • STNA certification
  • One year of supervised employment experience as a home health aide or nurse aide
  • Completion of a Training and Competency Evaluation Program lasting at least 30 hours and covering the required topics

Candidates who do not meet the preferred experience or training qualifications must complete a company-paid 30-hour training program before working with clients.


Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements. Compensation, benefits, and time off vary by state and location.
