Join NuAire as a Technical Service Representative and make a difference through innovative technology. In this role, you'll use your HVAC, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues, provide solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service. Full-time position: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.   

Salary range: $60,000.00 to $65,000.000 per year.  Starting wage will be dependent on experience level.

Responsibilities

  • Process part returns, determine disposition, update inventory, and coordinate customer credits with the Accounting department.
  • Process unit returns, take required photos, and work with Production on disposition
  • Provide order status updates by coordinating with the Parts Orders team.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues by working with Production, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Shipping.
  • Collaborate with Customers and Service Providers to plan travel, hotel accommodations, and other customer support arrangements.
  • Close out service orders and purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain the training room and related work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Two or four-year degree (electrical/mechanical) or 3 years of electrical service department experience preferred.
    • Mechanical aptitude.
    • Ability to work on multiple projects.
    • Technical or Customer service experience troubleshooting various levels of mechanical or electrical challenges.

    Knowledge/Skills: 

    • Ability to speak clearly and accurately using proper phone etiquette.
    • Ability to logically solve problems (mechanical / electrical).
    • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring.
    • Ability to read mechanical and/or electrical schematics.
    • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems.
    • Exercises discretion and independent judgment.
    • Proficient in MS Office products.
