Job description

Sequoia Outdoor Design & Build — San Mateo County’s Outdoor Living Specialist — is expanding our elite sales team. We’re looking for a high-performance closer who thrives on selling big-ticket outdoor living projects to affluent homeowners across the Bay Area.

If you’re driven, polished, and want to earn $150,000–$300,000+ per year, this is the role.


Compensation

  • 100% commission (uncapped)
  • $150,000–$300,000+ earning potential
  • Monthly & quarterly bonuses
  • Mileage reimbursement

What You’ll Do

  • Work pre-qualified, inbound leads — no cold calling
  • Conduct onsite consultations with homeowners
  • Capture site measurements and prepare 2D/3D design concepts (we’ll train you on our tools and process)
  • Present solutions & pricing on follow-up Google Meet sessions
  • Follow a proven two-appointment close system
  • Sell complete outdoor living projects including: pavers (driveways/patios/walkways), turf/putting greens, retaining & freestanding walls, outdoor kitchens/BBQ islands, pergolas, fire features, landscape lighting, water features, and more
  • Maintain client relationships and drive referrals
  • Collaborate with our experienced Project Management team (you ONLY sell — no build oversight)


Who We’re Looking For

  • 2–5+ years in outside sales
  • Experience in home improvement, remodeling, or construction preferred
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • Ability to learn our design software (ArcSite, SketchUp, VizTerra, etc. — we will train)
  • Clean, professional communication & presence
  • Self-motivated, organized, and competitive
  • Able to consistently execute a structured sales process


Your Performance Targets

  • $100,000+ in monthly sold revenue by Month 3
  • 30%+ close rate once fully ramped
  • Strong follow-up and pipeline discipline
  • Ability to manage 12–18 appointments per month
