Food Safety & OSHA Manager

Taxco Produce is looking for a Food Safety & OSHA Manager responsible for ensuring food is handled, stored, and maintained safely to prevent contamination and foodborne illness, while also overseeing workplace safety and compliance with occupational safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Food Safety

  • Monitor food handling procedures
  • Ensure proper sanitation and cleaning practices
  • Train employees on food safety procedures and standards
  • Maintain temperature logs and food safety records
  • Prepare for health inspections and audits
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations

OSHA & Workplace Safety

  • Prevent workplace injuries and accidents
  • Conduct employee safety training programs
  • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
  • Maintain safety documentation and reports
  • Perform workplace hazard assessments
  • Manage PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and emergency procedures

Qualifications
