Responsibilities

The Senior Organizational & People Development Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing processes, programs, courses, and tools for improving organizational effectiveness and people capabilities across the Organization. The focus of this role is to help guide colleagues through the talent management process and provide support for program development. This role will serve as the OD liaison for human resources and other functional areas.

This position reports to the Director of Organizational and People Development. Develops, revises, and implements learning experiences for Canyon Ranch colleagues which promote a consistent culture aligned with our principles. Provides appropriate learning materials and opportunities to develop staff including compliance and regulatory training and other material representative of the company’s mission and vision. In addition, the position manages the learning management software platform ensuring materials are regularly reviewed, current, assigned to staff in a timely manner.


Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Significant specialized experience with 5+ years of experience in the same or related field. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
  • LMS experience with enterprise-wide platforms
  • Facilitation, or training & development experience as well as instructional design experience preferred.

Additionally, the right candidate will:

  • Be solution-focused with knowledge of project management  
  • Possess E-learning technologies (Learning 365/Zensai or other LMS administration platforms)
  • Develop, monitor, and actively engage in colleague education and development programs
  • Create, administer, and deliver training (ILT, Online and LMS modules) 
  • Provide recommendations in learner needs and career development
  • Schedule, track, and monitor all training records and materials
  • Create internal marketing materials (Canva or similar platform), tools, curriculum, and frameworks for development programs
